Scapegoat — Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TNT Holley, Inc., operating as Cometforge, handles information in connection with the game Scapegoat (the “Game”).
1. Who we are
TNT Holley, Inc. (Cometforge) is the developer of the Game. For any privacy question or request, contact travis@tntholley.com.
2. Information we collect
Online identity and multiplayer data (via Epic Online Services and platform stores). To provide online and multiplayer features, the Game uses Epic Online Services (EOS), provided by Epic Games, and the storefront you bought the Game from (such as Steam or the Epic Games Store). Through these services the Game may receive your account identifier, display name, online presence, and — only to establish peer-to-peer or relayed multiplayer connections — your network address (IP). This is used to authenticate you, match you with other players, and run multiplayer sessions.
On-device AI characters. The Game’s single-player AI characters run entirely on your own device. Anything you type or say to them, and the memory those characters keep, is processed and stored locally on your machine. It is not transmitted to us, to Epic, or to any other third party, and we never see it.
What we do NOT collect. We do not collect payment or card details (your store handles purchases), we do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. How we use information
We use the limited online data above solely to operate the Game’s online and multiplayer features — authentication, matchmaking, session hosting, and friends/invites where you use them. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
4. Third-party services
- Epic Online Services / Epic Games — see the Epic Games Privacy Policy.
- Steam / Valve (if you obtain the Game on Steam) — see the Valve Privacy Policy.
5. Data retention
Online identifiers are retained only as long as needed to provide online services and are managed within Epic Online Services and your platform store. Local single-player data stays on your device until you delete it.
6. Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email travis@tntholley.com. Because much of the data is handled by Epic and your store, we may direct you to those services for certain requests.
8. Security
We rely on the security measures of Epic Online Services and the platform stores to protect online data, and we keep single-player data on your device rather than on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and posting the revised policy here.
